Badgers on Site
Please be alert. Badgers have been spotted at our site. It has already been noted that the have caused a considerable amount of damage to plots and crops. Badgers are a protected species and difficult to remove. However there are a number of precautionary measures that can be put in place to deter them from your plot. Peter Jones
As some of you may be aware our oldest allotmenteer Peter Jones sadly passed away on Saturday 11th May 2024. Peter joined Bells Hill Allotments in 1971 and had his plot for 52 years. Pete was a fantastic character, he was funny, always willing to help and pass on his advice and had an opinion on everything. Pete's plot always had a spectacular display of flowers and colour. He will be very much missed.
To celebrate Pete and his love for flowers his plot has been made into a rose garden for everyone to enjoy.
